I deleted 39,000 lines of my own work

I record every conversation I have. Sales calls, client sessions, group calls, the weekly teaching. About thirteen hundred so far. Every recording tool I tried kept them locked inside its own app. I couldn’t ask a question across all of them.

So I built CallVault. Every call goes in, gets transcribed, and can be asked anything from the AI you already use.

The decision I’m proudest of came in January 2026. I’d spent months building AI features inside the app. I threw all of it out, about 39,000 lines, and made the app do one thing well: keep the conversations, and open them to whatever AI the user prefers. The industry moved that direction six months later.

I built it alone. Three organizations run on it. It holds 580 of other people’s calls and 1,300 of mine.
