An operating system for a brain like mine
What “AI as external executive function” looks like when you actually build it.
I have ADHD. My brain does ten things at a hundred miles an hour and then doesn’t do the eleventh at all. Every productivity system I tried assumed a brain that isn’t mine.
So I built the system around the brain I have. LifeOS captures what I say and do, remembers it, and turns it into the next move. It runs my morning briefing, watches my relationships for silence, holds my plans outside my head, and refuses to let me say “done” without proof. It has logged more than 35,000 of its own actions.
I’m the only user. That’s the point: it’s the proof that the idea works, on the hardest case I know.
What to know
- This is the reference implementation of the thing I write and teach about.
- It’s built from parts anyone can inspect.
- I run my day on it. Every day.
